Our Partners

Our vision is Transparent and accountable public administration for the benefit of all Pacific peoples.

This in line with the Pacific Island Forum’s vision for a resilient Pacific region of peace, harmony, security, social inclusion and prosperity, that ensures all Pacific peoples can lead free, healthy and productive lives.

Our first strategic priority is focused on strengthening public financial management (PFM).

The PFM Roadmap for Forum Island Countries (FICs), endorsed by the Forum Leaders at its 2010 meeting, also aims to strengthen the PFM systems of FICs through better management and use of public resources and as a result, enhance transparency and accountability to the people of the Pacific.

We play an important role in strengthening the PFM systems of FICs through the work of individual supreme audit institutions (SAIs) as well as our regional programs under our strategic priorities.

Our relationships with development partners (DPs) and donors are crucial to our ongoing success. Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing primary DPs (listed below) and other critical DPs is essential, as is the need to develop new relationships with others.
